I’m an experienced audio producer, having worked across news and narrative podcasts at the BBC and New Statesman.
Now Here – BBC Sounds
I was commissioned by BBC Sounds to create and present Now Here, a six-part podcast series that launched in February 2024.
From a Liverpudlian pie shop reviving abandoned streets to a Welsh village reclaiming a radical past, Now Here tells stories of communities fighting back against neighbourhood decline and neglect.
The Guardian called the series “ingenious” and the iPaper “a snappy treat of a podcast”.

The New Statesman (2021-23)
Working with a senior producer, I produced award-winning politics podcast the New Statesman and international news podcast, World Review. I also launched an Audio Long Reads podcast and produced ambitious miniseries that dig deeper into political issues, including: the 2021 US elections, China Under Xi and the UK’s broken political system with Armando Iannucci.
Hackney Social Radio (2020-2021)
I produced regular packages for Hackney Social Radio, an hour-long local news and culture programme broadcast weekly Resonance FM.
Topics included: oral histories of factory work and Ridley Road market, and delving into the Rio Cinema’s archives.
I designed and delivered three six-week AQA courses at Here East in Stratford, training local people to make and present podcasts on issues that mattered to them.
Surviving Injustice – Appeal (2018)
I worked with legal charity Appeal to produce a three-part narrative podcast series that subverts the true-crime genre to shine a light on the criminal justice system. I produced, scripted and edited the series over a period of three months. We were reviewed by The Justice Gap.
